I don't get the question, hasn't Sharp made the hiptops/sidekicks for a couple generations now (since the SKII?).

Sharp is the Hardware Manufacturer.
Danger is the maker of the Software.

You are trying to compare apples to oranges. It's like asking who is a better computer manufacturer Microsoft or HP.

danger made the sidekick B&W and the sidekick color... Both of those where better built than any sidekick that sharp has made (2, 3, and the new LD or whatever)
