W950i - Apple Mac compatibility?

I am having trouble linking my Sony Ericssson W950i with my MacBook, and would welcome advice.

Problems I've found include -

* Apple's iSync bluetooth utility does not support the W950i

* Sony Ericsson's won't help (their customer services dept told me: "unfortunately Sony Ericsson doesn't support connections with Apple Mac computers).

* The best Sony Ericsson could do was to recommend PhoneAgent, a shareware utility downloadable from the Apple site. It looks excellent - simple design with lots of options - but it won't work with my W950i.

* PhoneAgent's developers told me: "Unfortunately, we do not plan to support the Sony Ericsson W950i. This phone uses the Symbian OS with an
entirely different communication protocol."

The result of all this is that I have a sophisticated phone but can't use all its functions.

Advice anyone?
