I have trouble connecting my phone to the software.
I use datapilot and that connects OK using Motorola USB modem drivers.
When I try to connect to a P2K program, sometimes it does, mostly it doesn't.
When it did connect in the past it would load about 3-4 drivers then connect.
When I went back to Datapilot, it had to delete those drivers and reinstall the modem driver.

I have been trying to get it to reload the drivers associated with P2K for 2 days now with no luck.

Is there a way to make this work easily and reliably for both?

Why don't you try this new drivers…….

For Windows 2000 must have the SP4, Windows XP must have SP2 or Windows Vista 32 bit versions

they just post them on Motodev on June 2007

Then try the MPT Motorola Phone Tools when you get to version 4 something you will still have the message that MPT did not recognize the phone don’t worry keep trying until you get the version 4.5.1c then your phone will be recognize

Then in order to be recognize you will need to have the newest version of P2K Programs like this one’s they work for me

For Java Applications

P2K Tools Programs this version (still having some problems when switching to AT mode)

About Flashbackup I have the version 3.0.053 but still you need to find the files for the Z3 in order to be recognized
