Ok. Got the go ahead from the wife. (I buy a lot of phones) She agreed to let me get a PDA type phone, and I have 2 that I am looking at. The Curve and the treo 680. Just want to know the pros/cons to help me make a decision.

Yes, I am doing research here and on other sites, but I want some personal input to help me make a decision. For the first time in who knows how long, I have to hold onto this phone for at least a year, so I want to make sure that I will like it.

Thanks all!

I've just recently switched from using both a T-Mobile MDA and a Treo 650. The Treo 680 is basically a 650 without the external antenna. I'm really loving the Curve right now. The build quality is great and it's easy to get used to.

I watched a lot of videos and listened to a lot of MP3s on my previous phones and I can say the sound quality on the Curve sounds a lot better. It even has a standard size 3.5mm jack for your headphones. I haven't watched any videos on the Curve yet, so I can't comment on that.

As far as form factor goes, the Curve is a lot smaller than the Treos. It's close the the same width, but shorter and a lot thinner.

If you're into getting e-mails, you gotta get the Curve. It's so easy to set up the e-mail, and getting it is so convenient.

The only thing I'm not quite sure I like is the trackball. I am getting used to it day by day though.

Oops, I forgot to mention, the Curve has a 2mp camera with flash that seems really good for a phone camera. Take a look at a few of the reviews out there for camera shots.

I think I have pretty much made my mind up on the curve.

Anyone else have some input?

And thanks to the above poster for your comments!
