Can anyone tell me when the HTC Kaiser/P4550 will be released in the UK . Untill yesterday it was showing on Expansys as coming soon but is now deleted ????

I don't know but would love to find out - I qualify for an upgrade in August and nothing currently available from T-mobile uk really interests me.

I did read somewhere that the phone co.s will have it available from sometime in September but I do not recall where

Why the companies can't just give a date of release rather than all this "top secret" stuff I don't know . Keep your eyes on T-Mobile and Expansys they will announce first .

I expect it's because they want people to sign-up or upgrade now and not to wait until a new product is released. Whatever reason - it stinks! I WANT MY KAISER N O W !

the kaiser is a good phone but for the money i dont think you will need all of the features of the phone and its a lot of money to spend

I can see myself using Kaiser to its full potential.

because, if the companies just promise anything and when they fail to deliver such promise the consumers will start b*tching. Sure the companies all have their deadlines, but who can guarantee that everything can go as planned. Maybe there are still issues to be fixed, maybe something goes wrong during mass production process, maybe T-Mobile wants to add something in the last minutes and it's going to take more time for HTC to build and test, you really never know. They can only confirm the dates when they actually have the units in stock, which they don't.
