i'm with cincinnati bell wireless, my local carrier,

they have an htc p4300 which looks to be a decent phone, but as i did some searching i came across this site which appears to be overwhelmed with info

in some of the posts they say you can bet much better than the p4300 for less money? but this is all my carrier offers, they offer blackberry too, but have not heard good things about them

i have seen references to "locked" and "unlocked", i'm assuming locked phones are locked to one provider and unlocked are not,

my question would be, which phones with a keyboard, nice display, similar to this phone are recommended , obviously it would have to be "unlocked", and even then, would it work with my carrier?

next question then would be, where to buy?
