Magnetic Flap and Touchscreen

Does a magnetic flap, now so common on a lot of phone cases, present any real problem for the touchscreen phones like the 8525?

Only on the slider where it could confuse it -- whether the keyboard is open or not. It may or may not be a problem for some.

Thanks. So it should be okay if I keep the screen facing towards me, and not the flap. Got it.

If you're worried about the touchscreen itself, it won't do anything to it (unless you get some super industrialized magnet). It won't damage it by any means, but if you do get a case and have the 8525, I recommend you try it in the case if possible. I haven't had problems with the screen facing me like you said.
