Is it realy that the camera onlt take pics in 640*480 ??

no, it takes 1600 x 1200

When you email them off the phone, it downsizes them to 640x480. You have to transfer them to the computer with the phone connected to it to get full resolution.

There's no setting to turn off automatic resizing? My w810 has that option (as well as mms). Hopefully whenever a firmware update hits, it will allow emailing the actual picture you want to send instead of a small version of it.

I'm guessing AT&T had something to do with this. They probably had an agreement with Apple in order to reduce EDGE usage.
