iphone screenshots?

Can anyone think of a way to capture screenshots of what's on an iphone?
I'm trying to write up some documentation for someone (he's older and has never owned a computer, let alone a smartphone) and would like to give simple comprehensive directions on how to use Google Maps.

I don't think there is a way at this point (maybe with one of em third-party applications in the future though). Most people have just taken good-quality photos and then cut out the backgrounds.

Digital camera (on macro setting) + iPhone = screenshot.

show him the iphone videos/adds on apples page,
they include using google maps.
