Car mount recommendation for TYTN?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Hi all,

Can anyone suggest a good powered, or non-powered windshield car mount for the TYTN?

I've used Seidio before, but they have become quite expensive. Arkon has discontinued their powered line of mounts therefore I need some experienced advice.

It would mainly be to use GPS properly.

Thanks in advance!

You can take a look at this ProClip

I don't have any personal experience with it, but I've ordered one for my S710. The link is to the phone holder. You can attach the holder to any number of mounts, whether it is from ProClip or somebody else.

I bought the Herbert Richter Global 6 http://www.canadagps.com/Mounkit_HR_Swivel.html. It seems very well made and it was easy to install.

I use a ProClip for my iPod. It works great!

For the 8525 I use a Belkin mount with a suction cup onto the windscreen. Works OK, but the actual phone holder isn't big enough to hold the phone if it is in a case.
