im having issues getting online with my c730.

im on tmobile and have configured the gprs connection to wap.voicestream.com.

my inbox downloads work so i know its connected but when i open ie and type an address, it just says opening for a little while and then it tells "error 502 -bad request".

im not sure what im doing wrong.

can anyone help?

Do you have the proxy info configured? You may need that to route http properly.

i just tried putting a proxy and now it works. but on all my previous pocket pcs and smartphones i didnt have to put a proxy. all i needed was wap.voicestream.com.

i feel like the proxy is making the internet slower.

I am on Tmobile also and my C730 is struck roaming on Edge and I think it might be because I didn't set it up properly. Do you have a cab. file with the Tmobile settings? If not, what settings did you used?
