How come when I flash my phone with RSD Lite, the phone restarts in BootLoader, says "SW Update..." then resets back on to my current firmware? It shows a progression on RSD lite while my phone is loaded, but nothing happens.

Any ideas?

the firmware you have on the phone maybe a sticky. Sticky firmware cannot be backwards flashed only flashed with new firmware.

Where does it pause on the RSdlite screen.

it actually doesn't stop, it just continues right on to 100% then PASS, while nothing happens to the phone haha.

Yeah, it's a branded firmware so I take it it's sticky? Ah well.

try and do a master reset/master clear before flashing

same thing happened with one of my v3's once and doing a master reset fixed it

Probably causes

1.- First of all please tell us what phone do you have and the Software version (current) then tell us wish one do you want to flash to your phone before We can say that they are not compatibles we have to Know…

2.- Then go to www.motodev.com register there and download the latest drivers so you can discard the fact that you are loosing connection with RSD Lite du to a driver issue they are the

Handset_USB_Driver_32_v2.9.0.zip if you have Windows 32 bits
Handset_USB_Driver_64_v2.9.0.zip if you have Windows 64 bits

3.- If you have a camera cable try that to see that your cable is not defective

So I finally got around to flashing my z6 with Z6_R60_G_80.31.17R and this is what RDS lite 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, & 3.8 gives me.

Failed flashing process. Failed flashing process. Phone [0000]: Error checking the RAM Downoader. (0x709F); phone disconnected

I am running bootloader 02.E0

I have been trying numerous things nothings working

Any ideas guys???

what's a good software for my computer that can back up all my settings and contacts on my phone?

by the way, i'm playing around with the z6. I have Z6_R60_G_80.31.17R now but it's branded with China Mobile. I want to test my older version "R60_G_80.30.40I_ascension_Bootloader_replacer.shx"

Tell you the truth I’m going to guess here that is your boot loader based on my own experience
Why cause I have a friend with the same Z3 and he can flash his phone with no problems the only difference within his phone and mine is that I have the 0A.C3 and he has the 0A.C2 one number haa and I do get the same error “error sending the ramdownloader” if I found something I will let you know if you…..please share

have you try the new P2K Tools? just read the phone in AT mode
P2KToolsVS_3.0.7.759

this is good for photos, ringtones,contacts i don't know if is going to work with Z6 it works with Z3

yeah master reset didnt help as well. i guess it's sticky. any way around it?

Hey i got a problem
i flashed my z6c with a monster
pack and im stuck in bootloader mode
and i can not flash it with a monsterpack
it just fails
i think my firmware got messed up
anyway to restore original one back
to the phone if so let me kno o also
i used the monster pack from mod my moto
if that helps
