How Do I Enter Codes?

Hello everyone

This is a noob asking:

I am the proud owner of a cingular E62,

.
How do I enter the codes? ie #0000#, i punch in the keys and then what?
Because I get nothing, if I hit the call key, I get a "request not completed" message.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

its *#0000#...u missed the "*"

Thanks for the info on entering codes, I did mis the "*".
