Originally posted by JohnnyK Well I'm trying out AT&T GSM and I didn't much care for the 3590, so I took advantage of AT&T's 30 day exchange policy (very generous, I'm pleased), and tried the dinky little Siemens C56. So far I rather like the little bugger. It's tiny, which is lovely. Its screen is orange, which is a nice change if nothing else. Its buttons have a nice clicky feel (those damn 3590 buttons were so mushy) I love the plethora of included ringtones...currently I've got my phone quacking like a duck. it feels good to hold 2 things that annoy me... 1) RF is worse than the T68i for me 2) for speakerphone, I have to hit two different buttons and THEN crank up the volume every single time... Other than that, it's pretty spiffy. Good to know that Siemens is another brand of phones I can consider (a prestigious honor so far only bestowed to Nokia and Sony Ericsson). |

Originally posted by Synncere Congrats on the new fone! It's a great mobile and I hope you enjoy it. I am surprised to hear you feel the RF is worse than that T68i I found the RF on the C56 to be quite good. |

Originally posted by Daeyen I picked up a C56 today and love it too, mine is a dolphin. I think the RF is almost as good as the S46 and 3590 which are both good in my area.. Quite shocking for such a small phone with an internal antenna. I also like that the Siemens phone almost all have the external antenna jack. Don't need a beltclip anymore, I just put it in my pocket it's so small. |

Originally posted by molna We have a C56 here at the office, I think... It says 'C55' on the cover It says 'C56' on *#06# It says 'CT56' under the battery (isn't this Cingular only? We got it from AT&T...) At least it's a C-class...
