If i take my phone to the genius bar and they agree to exchange it for a new one do i need to have the box and accessories with me or do they just give you a new phone and that's it?

And do they delete everything off of your old phone?

They will exchange whatever you bring with you. Delete your personal info yourself to be on the safe side.

they will just switch out the phone if you only bring that in. Or the whole package if you bring that in. I had to go through 2 before I settled into this one. First one crashed my computer. Second was just slow (only know that since I had a previous one to compare it to). I had no problems w the return either time. And yes they will wipe out all your info so make sure you have all backed up at home. .... By the by this was read and answered on the iphone
