Hello there,

I got a slight nick on my phone and I wanted to know if it is possible to change the housing on my K1m between the five OEM colors available. Does it simply snap in and out of place?

Does anyone know where I can buy the housing?

Where is the scratch / nick? If its on the glass panel than you can pop out the screen, take out the glass panel and pop the new one in and put the screen back in. If its on a part of the "housing" then you'll have to take the entire phone apart. Remember that doing this voids your warranty / any insurance you have. cnn.cn has some parts for the K1m. But they only have the colors that Verizon offers. (All of which have Verizon logo's. You might be able to remove them if there not laser engraved, For example the one's on my Q that i flashed to Cricket were just "printed" on it so you can scratch them off pretty easily.) Good luck!

Thank you for the reply. Its the faceplate that has the nick and that site is interesting, never knew it existed.
