ok a friend bought a usb cord to connect her moto razor v3 to the comp but the company didnt send her the drivers to make it work. so can anyone tell me where to get them for free???

latest version why don’t you go to www.motodev.com register you self there and download the latest drivers then you have to download the P2K Programs like this one here http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1214839

I tried downloading the latest version from Motodev, but it still didnt work with my vista pc. any other ideas??

32 bts and 64 bits and what's your vista 32 or 64

These are the USB Drivers for Windows. You need to install these drivers in order for Windows to detect your phone and allow other programs to recognize your phone.

The newest ones are the 2.9

The thing is that we are not suppose to give links to drivers form MOTODEV that's why you have to register there

I downloaded the 64 bit version, which still doesnt work, and i did try the live update but it never made it to version 4.5.1c which is the one im trying to get. Im now trying to get a copy from Motorola Australia. May have some success there.

Ok, so far this is what ive done. Downloaded Motodev Updates and tried updating manually, and live updates, neither have worked, ive tried the 64 bit version which is what my OS is, and again like motorola people keep telling me, run live update, which didnt work...again.....(at this point its becoming quite frustrating)....and ive tried a few of these other MPT files....im now trying to install the 2.9 ver...see how that goes.....arghh!

im going to get a new Vista Laptop today, and the last one i used was a 64 bit version, and i am assuming that the new one will be a 64 bit version, i have downloaded both 32 and 64 bit versions just in case. I will keep you posted today, and let you know how it goes.

Hey guys,

Some great news, i didnt have to use any of the updates from Motodev website, the current MPT that i have worked fine with my vista PC, its only Vista Basic, but it works fine, i did have one problem at the start with connecting and recognizing the phone but i fixed it with a simple solution.

go to msconfig, tools tab, disable the UAC, so that you can run the program as the Administrator, and whola!, no problems. Give it a go and let me know how you get along.

Glad that you can fix it we didn’t know that you where trying to connect your phone with out being the administrator, to tell you the truth almost everything you do in your PC has to be that way

About the memory Stick has to be the Micros SD

Hey Bebeto, i didnt actually use P2k tools, So far my version of MPT is still working and i havent really had any problems with it, apart from when i try to connect to the internet through the phone, it doest automatically log on when i press the internet connection button.
Another good way to surf the net on your phone is use its bluetooth. It works really good with a laptop.
