Anybody else have a Dash with a loose battery door?

i just picked up an unlocked tmobile dash (with original box, screen protector, receipt, 1gb micro sd, leather case, some apps, etc) for $170 on craigslist. everything is perfect except the battery door is "loose". by loose i mean that it takes barely anything for it to come off. i've never had this issue on any of my other phones and the guy selling it said it was a common dash problem. i didnt bye it so he lowered his price ($170 for all that is a very good deal IMO). so does anybody else have that problem? if so, can you fix it? thanks again

The battery door is very easy to slide off, but it shouldn't come off just by looking at it funny. Get one of these and you won't have to worry about the battery door, or damage to the body.

ok if its very easy to slide off then i dont think there is a problem...its kind of annoying though lol

Some folks fold up a piece of paper or other comparable object and put it on top of the battery.

ahh i just folded a movie stub and put it in there and now its nice and tite! would that affect the battery or anything tho (heat wise)?

Nice. My solution was to just carefully 'fold' the cover outwards. But I think this paper-insertion trick should be a bit better. Thanks, all.

ya i defiantly tried to fold the cover outwards which helped a little, but the paper trick works wonders! fyi a single sheet of paper cut down isn't thick enough (which is why i sued a ticket stub folded over). just experiment and you'll get a fix

heat it up with a hair dryer (just a quick blast) and bend it in a bit.. that should raise the clip that locks in the battery cover...
