How do you load Opera Mini 4?

I dowloaded it, and I see it the Curve's application loader... but when I hit "finalize" it looks like it has loaded but I can't find it on the Curve. I looked in applications... is there some step I've missed?

Thanks

by "download" do you mean you did it OTA or via sync? If the latter, try OTA. I have an 8830 but have installed Opera on a number of devices over the years OTA without issues

I can download Opera Mini, but I'm having unusual issues. I can load Yahoo and other pages in the default bookmarks, but if I try to load another page, I get an error message:
java.io.IOException: MSS, Stream Closed...

Does anyone else get this? I'm running on AT&T with the WAP@Cingulargprs.com setting.

I have Opera 4.0 Mini beta running on my 8830. Seems fine, but is there a way to make it the "default browser", such that when I click a link in an email or something it opens in Opera instead of the RIM Browser?

Not yet, you can't set it as your default browser. I just got beta 2 running on my 8300 just fine.

the best way to get it is to go to mini.opera.com/beta from the default web browser. That will get you the new operamin 4 beta 2. Now the menu key is actually the menu key.
