Hello,
I just got a new tmobile dash with WM6 last week and i love it so far, but there are a few things that i really hate and that make me want to get my old V600 back (but its broken)..
On my old V600 i was able to transfer files from the phone to the PC and vice-versa by pairing the devices and using Device Browser on my Mac. But i guess some smart guy at TMobile decided to disable that feature so now i have to realy on my Desktop PC at home which i bearly use.
Is there any way to pair the devices so that i can transfer files..? When i am adding a new device from my Mac the phone shows up, but the PC says that thera are no bluetooth services on the phone, with my V600 it shows ObjectX File transfer (or something like it) and many others... Is there any way to get that working on my dash...? I know it is supported, but for some reason it is disabled..
Thanks

There is a program called Missing Sync for the Mac. It will allow you to sync up the Dash and transfer files.
Don't blame t-mobile for this, it's a Windows based phone, of course it's not going to work out of the box properly with Mac's. Blame MS for that.
Something I do to avoid problems like this all together is sync my contacts and stuff to my companies Exchange server and transfer files using my micro-sd card and a card reader.

For one, make sure Receive incoming beams is checked in the settings -> connection. Second, look under bluetooth for the OBEX authentication under the Device name.
