Hey guys, finally got my fake SanDisk 1 GB Micro SD card for my Sharp 703SHf for 0.99 on ebay. So i'm wondering, after I've loaded it up with 330 MB of .aac/.mp4 songs encoded with itunes it doesn't show the artist name. Also, with the video camera mode, is there any advantages or disadvantage if you use .asf or .3gp format and which one is easier to convert into .avi if their both the same? Thanks.

Sharps don't read m4a file tag information for some reason. They display the filename as the song name and nothing for the artist. They read ID3 tag info from MP3 files, which the 703SHf doesn't support.

They're not both the same; ASF relies on the Windows Media type of MPEG4 compression technolology whereas 3GP is using generic MPEG4 (at QVGA res) or H.263 (at QCIF or lower). Probably 3GP will be easier to convert to the avi file extension but in my (subjective) view ASF has better quality over 3GP; I find there's less macro-blocking with ASF in high-movement scenes. This is based on my 903 though; the 703SHf may be a different thing altogether.
