L6 address book contact changing default when contact by them

I have a slightly modded L6 that will change the text message ringer from what I set it to another one every time a get a message from one person in particular in the address book. So I set the text message ringer to file 1 and it will change to file 2 and play that whenever this one person in the address book contacts me. I have tried fixing the database with P2KTools several times and restarted the phone several times and even deleted then remade the contact in the address book and it still does it. Any ideas anyone? This is really annoying me cuz its not like its the best ringtone (the constipated part to "A complicated song" by Weird Al) 
Funny, but the last thing you want going off in a group of people.

maybe u just have to save manually.
