I am trying to have only the contacts saved on the phone to show instead of the sim contacts as well as the phone contacts, does anyone know where to go to have this done, i have done it before but i need it to be jogged back into my memory, thanks!!!

Okay I looked it up for you this time instead of trying to remember it. 
It's under settings -> phone -> call options.
