Getting old mail sent to BB again

I just started receiving email from my comcast.net email account that has been in the inbox from 2004. I'm deleting groups of them as they come, but what is going on here?

Sounds like a Comcast glitch, not a Blackberry one. I recently had my .Mac email come flooding back after having been deleted months ago, right when they were doing mail server maintenance at Apple. Hopefully this is a one-time thing and will prove to be nothing to worry about.
