I just logged onto flick im and noticed there was a clickable link at the bottom that said "notifcation settings" . Looks like they have it now where if someone comes online you can be notified via text or email. Its not a replacement for a stand alone im program, but its something good to tide us over until there's an update

if you have unlimited text messages wouldnt it not matter? Cause I like that feature because as of now its a way to actually be notified of incomming IM's even with the phone off.

I am just worried that even though I have unlimited text messages I would get a charge since its from a wierd number (ex : 1-010-100-001)

You never get charged extra for incoming messages even if they are from overseas. They only charge you extra for outgoing to international numbers.

As for this notification, I think the best way to handle it would be to put that number in your contact list as "FlickIM", so that way when you get a text message, it identifies itself properly and you don't see that strange number.
