I just got my warranty replacement Pearl. I used the Blackberry manager to move my old aps and stuff to my new one. Everything went fine except it is not receiving my email. It appears that the phone has the email address in it. The phone also goes on the Internet. Any ideas?

Have you tried resending the service books?

how do I do that?

You don't mention if you use BES or BIS, but I will assume BIS. You need to go to your provider's BIS site, login, and "Change Device" (i.e., update the PIN). Resending service books can also be initiated from your provider's BIS site, if necessary.

Sorry guys. Well I seem to have received another dud. I noticed that my old battery in my refurbed warranty replacement phone is going through the battery at an alarming pace. For the second day in a row the battery is only lasting about 10 hours with almost no use. I noticed that I have full bars of service and I can get on the Internet with no problem. BUT when I try and check messages it says "searching for network."
Yes I have BIS. I forgot my password and it said it was sent to my blackberry. Only it is not showing up.
I KNOW, I am a MORON.

You need to call AT&T and tell them to give you your password of have them reset it.
You have GOT to log onto your BIS account to change your PIN and IMEI number and then send your service books. You mail is still going to your old Blackberry's PIN and not your new one. Store your PIN in a safe place.
After that see how the battery use is going.
