iPhone display - Sunlight Readable, whoohoo!

This is the only phone, nay, only mobile device with a color screen I have ever owned that has been sunlight-readable. I was just outside in direct sunlight, nearly noon, full-on, and I could read the screen just fine. Yay

Yup, I have never used a mobile device with a better screen. You can have a noon sun directly over your shoulder and read the screen fine.

th only other Smartphone that I know of that was readable in sunlight was the Blackberry 7250, but the resolution on that screen was terrible. And of course, the interface doesn't even come close.

Yep. Best screen I've ever seen in sunlight. I keep brightness way down (about 30% on the slider!) to conserve battery and it's still very readable in blazing sunlight.
My old SE W810i would be completely washed out in a similar situation. Even my Dell laptop is pretty much unreadable in full sunlight.

Yeah I love being able to use my phone in sunlight. My Samsung D900 also had a great lcd. I loved it.
