In the \Windows\Startup folder (WM5) there are shortcuts to the following four files:
ConfigXML.exe
LNK_RefreshRSK.exe
lpad.exe
GprsCsp2
Does anyone know what these actually do? I am wondering if they are just for Cingular/At&t stuff, or actually needed for the OS to function properly?
If anyone has any answers, I would really appreciate it.....
Thanks all for a great forum

bump. Anyone?

why would you want to delete them? or are you just curious?

Well, if I run a "ConfigXML.exe" file every time at startup, it may well be making changes I do not want. For example. Unfortunately I do not know how to read the .exe files these shortcuts refer to, hence my question.
Sometimes carriers place files in rom that I would not need nor want, when operating on another carrier.
So, does anyone have any answers, or is there a way to be able to read the contents of the actual .exe files, so I know what's going on when I run them?

Moving this question into the T-Mobile WM forum, to see if anyone browsing there has any answers...........
