Would I be able to install WM6 if I unlock my Rogers locked HTC TyTN?
I tried installing the ROM earlier but no success.

if anyone has info, pls help me out.

If you CID unlock it then yes your can install any Wm6 Tytan Rom.

I used the free unlock program on my rogers tytn and promptly flashed to the black majik WM6 ROM with no issues. just be sure to install hard spl first. this will keep you from killing your phone shoud the flash go wrong.

I was able to install the WM6 rom.
I had the TyTN CID & SIM locked using the free program offered through XDA

I used hard spl and then applied the ROM went perfect. The only problem is my Name and Number caller ID I subscribe to with Rogers is no longer working only now displaying the number.

make sure you use the sim manager program and copy you sim contacts to the phone.
