Is there a better web browser to load? I just bought a blackberry 8830, and tried to use the browser, and alot of sites are saying there is no Javascript supported by the browser..

Opera Mini is a much better option then the built in BB browser. Will work with most javascript. Not everything of course, but the majority of sites work.
