903 Battery Problem, or....??

Hey y'all. It's been a loooong time since I last posted, but still enjoying visiting here often!

Anyway, I have a question I'm hoping some of you can help me answer. My 903SH (Vodafone model, if it makes any difference) recently stopped charging. When not plugged in, the phone shuts down (i.e. dead battery, I assume). But when plugged in, the battery doesn't charge (i.e. charge light not ignited, battery icon doesn't flash), yet the phone is operational.

I'm wondering if this is a battery problem, or if this is a problem with the charging dock, that is, it is not allowing me to charge the battery. It is not my charger/adapter, as I have tried to use a different adapter (from my 904). My phone is rather old, bought in and been using it since October 2005.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks people, I'm hoping someone can offer some insight to this problem

try a diff charger?

Hehehe, yeah...I tried that earlier, still no luck. If anything, I'll shut down all the electricity in my house to see if maybe I am using a bad outlet or something. Thanks for the tip though! Hopefully nobody else is having this problem. Wonder if they do have resale parts out there??
