V3xx and MicroSD card from other phone

Here's my question. I used to use a VZW LG Vx8300 that contains a MicroSD card that I want to move over to my new V3xx. The only thing is, the card already contains a bunch of pictures. If I insert the card, which has only been used on the other phone, will the V3xx automatically format it and wipe everything out, or will it allow me to see the card's contents? I have the MicroSD-to-SD adapter...somewhere, but what I'd rather do is put the card into the V3xx and use BT to move the pics over to my PC. What i don't want to happen is for the V3xx to automatically erase the card, since it was used in another model phone.
Anyone had any experience with something like this?

You will be fine, the V3xx will automatically retrieve the data and add it to its database.

Cool, thanks!
BTW, since you're familiar with the V3xx, are there any good repositories of downloadable apps to install? They don't have to be apps that use data, although they can be. I'm just looking to see what's out there.

I moved a MicroSD card from an LG CU320 to a Samsung SGH-A707 and everything on the card was cleared out and new folders were created. On the other hand, it might have just hidden the existing folders as digital cameras do when you move cards between different brands of cameras.
