I am about to rejoin Cing/att...............My dilemna is phone choice.

Signal reception is our #1 priority as we travel along a fairly short stretch that has iffy reception. From what I am reading, the V3xx has the best signal lock. I am wondering if the KRZR is the same phone as regards to finding and hanging on to a signal. We are primarly interested in voice transmission. Please advise.

I understand these phone have an external antenna jack and any comments orsuggestions on the topic of an external car antenna would also be appreciated.

I've been extremely happy with my v3xx. The krzr just doesn't do it for me when i comes to form factor and screen size. Voice is probably about the same between the two, when it comes down to it.

If you're in a 3G area you should not even consider the Krzr.

I'm in the mountains at the moment and the V3xx is doing very well picking up and holding on to a signal. Even when it really shouldn't be in some of the places.

by all means the v3xx is way better than most other phones.

i believe that the krzr is excellent as far as rf and voice. however the v3xx is newer and better. if it were the 2nd gen krzr then it would be a matter of form factor. the screen on the v3xx is reason enough for me

Yeah at this point in the game there is really no reason to take the krzr over the V3xx.

Bigger Screen, 3G, Bigger Keypad and overall the capability to do alot more than the krzr.

Simply put, don't short change yourself!

However, most time people ask this question it's because they prefer the form factor of the krzr as opposed to v3xx. If you like the form factor of the krzr better then by all means get the krzr.
