Interestingly, my replacement 6800 does not have the words "Pocket PC" printed below the display. My original did, as do my co-workers' units and all the store-stock units in my store. The pictures on the box, however, don't show "Pocket PC" below the display. Are your white backlights at the top (behind the mail and Internet Explorer buttons) considerably brighter than the white backlights behind your bottom keys (Windows icon, "OK" key, two softkeys)? Seems like the brightness was much more consistent on my first 6800. To its credit, my replacement 6800's keypad appears to be put together a little better than the original one. The first 6800's keypad was, for lack of a better word, buckling in a few places. It certainly wasn't flat. This one looks much better. Hello, quality control? Anyone home? |
