What is your next phone purchase?

What is the next phone you plan on purchasing?

My mom and two sisters are going to get at&t, and they're going to use unlocked phones, so they're getting 3 free phones, and I plan on unlocking them so I have 3 free 6126's as backups.

But a phone that I'm legitimately buying for myself? Probably the second generation iPhone, which won't be until December 2008.

Either the:

K800i
N80
E65
6288.

803t possibly, as its in within my reach, but I want one that is grey with the all black inside, not as easy to find that specific color scheme, nearly got one, but deal fell through, since I saw the pics of that specific color I've been tempted by it

HTC Polaris, hopefully by this November, which is its 'expected' release date.

I have at&t too and im planning on selling the free phones im geting from them on ebay to offset the purchase of a k810 for me and the w880 as a xmas gift for my dad you should consider doing the same...at least with 2 of the 3 cause i really doubt you'll need 2 backups

if you dont like ebay or craigslist you could look into secondrotation.com it seems like a decent site to sell your phones(especially used) quickly and without having to both with ebay(which sucks at times...especially if no one wants to buy the damn phone im trying to get rid of) but there is a downside...you probably wont get as much money for it either...usually not significantly less though

Sony Ericsson W960i
Nokia 6500 Slide
Nokia N81/N82

Posted by: braindead5400

Possibly an N95

Once I get that, I think I'll be done with new phones until next spring. By then, I should be bored with the N95 and my V8

Looking at a few:

ROKR Z6
P1i
E90 (highly doubt it though)

me waiting for that too

I'll probably get the Sony Ericsson Cybershot K850i at or close to launch, as I was very happy with the K800i's camera functionality. The triband HSDPA functionality is a definite plus.

I was considering the HTC Kaiser when it comes out, because I've always wanted a PPC phone w/ GPS but I may wait a few months after it's launch until the unlocked price goes down.

I'd consider an N95 if they ever updated it with triband HSDPA.

My top priority is the SE z750i.
I like the Treo 750, but it's takes a good chunk of my pocket space depending on the what pants I wear, especially when I have to carry keys and wallet and it drags my pants a down a bit (yes, I am using a belt). I may consider the k850i, however I'm not a fan of candybar style phones.

I may consider the Kaiser, but PDA style phones aren't on the top of my list.

I cant wait for the Pearl 2 "Komet" i just took a pearl from work and been playing around and i LOVE IT, so i cant wait for the better camera and wi-fi, thats my next phone purchase.

Probably HTC Kaiser. I love my N95 but the lack of 3rd party software for the GPS receiver makes me a sad panda.

2gb Motorazr V8
Motorazr2 V9

I am drooling over the SE W580i in white. I want one.

Im going to get a LG 9400 when my E2 comes up in march. as a member of the vzw vip I will get $50 off on top of the $100 NE2 credit so whichever phone I get will be $150 less and it must have mediaflo. so far Im very impressed with the 9400.
I dont really care about qwerty , dont need a pda, wont be sending pics to my friends via bluetooth, but want an excellent reliabilty and durability phone with mediaflo, a2dp,1.2 or higher regular bluetooth, good looking screen, and a decent sized regular keyboard. the 9400 fits the bill

probably the SE K850i or SE K770i

Posted by: DigitalAxis

Realistically? KRZR K1 (or, if I can wait long enough and it turns out the phone is real, Nokia 6263)
Or for a slider, which is less likely considering how I prefer phones to reach from my ear to my mouth, the Samsung SGH-T629

Now, if I were buying unlocked I might consider the Nokia 6267 or the ROKR Z6 slider.

The North American HSDPA version of the N95 was approved by the FCC recently. Not sure when it's coming out, but I'm going to hold out for it.

Posted by: jontymisra

Yea, I heard, but given I'm in Canada and will not ever buy a data plan here, I'm gona settle with 8GB one

I'm in the market for a new phone. And I'm having a difficult time finding what I want. Rather than crosspost, here is the link with my "story" and what I'm looking for in a phone.
