Like they did with D807 after it's EOL? I certainly hope so. Dumb move on their part, in my opinion. It was a really hot seller.

Why would they? There are plenty of phones to replace it that should (supposedly) be out by the end of the year.

This phone is readily available from most online retailers, including eBay, unlocked and unbranded, which is far better than the Cingular/AT&T branding.

Not really a dumb move on their part if they are picking up the w580i (which is supposed to be the case). They ran out of stock, knew they were getting the much improved replacement model, so they didn't order any more. Makes sense to me.
