Connecting to Internet outside USA

I'm currently living in Eastern Europe, but purchased a TMobile Dash. I have been working with the local mobile phone service provider to try to create a new connection that works on their system, but the settings they want to use do not appear to be options on the Dash. Does anyone know if TMobile's Dash has a different connection screen than the typical windows mobile?
My provider says the profile needs to be "GPRS" and the Access point needs to be "GPRS", but they don't have any DNS, access url, etc.
Has anyone else had this problem while traveling? Does anyone know if this would be solved by loading a different ROM?
