Hi guys

As i leave my bluetooth on, text few times, barely talk,

it seemed to last about 24 hrs in a place with full strength

but when i tested it in my house, which i get 1 bar or no signal at all, the battery seems to be draining faster.

so i'm wondering if it takes more power in keep searching for signal maybe? With bluetooth on, the battery seems to die extremely fast, but i need some feedback

thanks!

Unless you listen to music over bluetooth, since you rarely talk, why else leave bluetooth on?

Yes, constantly searching for a signal will have an adverse effect on your battery.

in weak reception areas the battery needs to pump out more power to retain the signal, so yes, signal strength affects the battery life in a great way.

If you make/receive a phone call with weak signal strength, your phone uses a lot more juice to try and make sure the signal is received by the cell towers in as best a quality as it can allow (you still get break ups and such, but what do you expect at 1 bar of signal)

thanks a lot...

this literally sucks, because ONLY in my block i get no signal or if i'm lucky up to 3 bars, but usually 1 or none, and uh,,,battery dies fast.........ugh? --;;
