Could someone post a detailed description of the dress code rules that Retail store reps must adhere to. I am just looking to go pick up some extra clothes today and want to know what I can and can't get. Thanks in advance for any help

PS If people don't understand why I am asking its because I just got hired and I don't know what the dress code is. I have some kohls extra cash coupons that expire today and want to use them up.

just get some khakis and some black dress slacks, the shirts are from landsend...........................have you never been in a store?

Yeah I have been in a store. I just couldn't remember exactly what people had on. some had polos others had dress shirts. and pants I figured out being dress pants but was not sure what colors they all allowed since the store I was at they had all black. so just making sure kahki colored is fine.

Get a couple of Hawaiian shirts some shorts and flip flops. That should do it because when you start working there, your gonna wish you were on vacation instead of dealing with payments and bullsh#t customers!!

Get some nice looking, but comfortable shoes (especially if your store doesn't have chairs at the stations). Get some comfortable khaki or dress pants that breathe. It's nice being cool when you're hot under the collar dealing with some old hag that wants a free SYNC with no media bundle.

I personally recommend those Dr. Scholls padded dress socks. They look good and make it feel like you're walking on air. $4 for two pair. Well worth it.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! That *Truly* made me "lol" officiallygone!!!!!

I wear kakhi's everyday, a nice pair of dress shoes, and either the blue or black dress shirt or dark blue or black polo, depending on how I feel that day. I usually wear my dress shirts on Tuesdays/Wednesdays, wear polos on Thurs thru Saturday.

Just a personal preference, but stay away from the white and the "baby blue" colored shirts. They're not really 'power colors', not good for a sales job where you're trying to take people's money. They work for some people, just not me personally Not only that, but the color white shows literally EVERY possible stain, hair, and spec of dust possible.

White can be okay. It looks formal and severe. My favorite is all black. It's also a severe look, but is more contemporary and is somewhat pretentious. Perfect for me.

Although, knowing your s### and at least acting like you care about the cust. makes a far bigger difference than black v those ugly light blue shirts.

lol at least we all agree those baby blue shirts are nasty...

the white att dress shirts is all I wear, I think I have one black shirt. But that may change as I see they added some colors to the broadcloth lineup...I cant stand the other shirts they are just too thick.

Just wear a plain t-shirt....that way no one will ask you the question "do you work here?"

I always answer that question with "nope, I'm just a *huuuuuuge* fan of at&t," and I roll my eyes back in my head in an orgasmic state when I get to the word "huge".

I wear khakis, a pima polo (best material they offer by far), and a pair of Puma swedes that my ARSM hates, but my customers like. Then again, we do a lot of things in our store that wouldn't fly in most stores. Just stick to plain black or brown shoes and khakis or black pants to start and then get a feel for what you can get away with. We have a girl that has pink hair right now. My ARSM absolutely hates it, but she gets a lot of compliments from customers. I might have to try wearing my new shoes and see how they go over: http://www.buckle.com/product/produ...7c1&N=42+27+256

c'mon those baby blue shirts aren't that bad. i have one and a get compliments from customers and co-workers; just got to know how to wear it. light blue polo shirt with dark brown khaki pants w/ brown belt and comfortable brown shoes (from journeys) and you've got a winner. i guessed because i have a darker skin tone thats why it works for me but the ladies really like it. just throw on some aqua di gio or some curve cologne and instant chick magnet at AT&T.

i do agree with the white polo shirts though. every stain, hair, pen mark, etc. will ultimately show on those shirts. whateva you do, don't eat a chilli cheese coney from sonic while wearing this shirt.

however, i really HATE those oxford shirts. everytime i order them they never fit right and thus they are really puffy looking. i guess being that i'm short (5'7") but i just doesn't fit or look right on me. i only order polos or long sleeve polos.

Maybe it is because I am a girl, but I like the light blue shirts for me.
