Im new to my S620 and Windows Mobile and already tried putting a program on it that wont close all the way out, kinda locks things up. is there a CTRL ALT DEL equivilant to Win Mobile?

also, are applications still running in the background even if i hit the hangup button to go to the menu? some applications dont seem to have an Exit function to them so im not sure if they are still open (im use to Nokia Symbian)

Thanx!

To reset your device, poke the reset hole.

couldnt have said it better... or you could just hold the power button for like 10 secs and it will shut it off...

ummm or you could go to your TASK MANAGER and end all programs like how everyone else does...

why would you shut off the phone each time you want to end the running programs...? and reset the device? thats some BAD advice

he wants to end the programs running in the background....

Click on START
find TASK MANAGER
click on MENU on the right
select STOP ALL

that will kill any running programs in the background.

As a side note, I use Spb Pocket Plus on both my Mogul and my HP hx2495b. One of its features is a "real working close button." I have mine configured to show a dropdown menu of choices including Minimize, Close, Close All, Suspend, and Soft Reset. It also makes switching tasks very easy. You might want to look into that. Much simpler than having to repeatedly go into the Memory settings and close programs.

I read up on that Spb Pocket thing and it sounds really cool! I gave it a shot and it says that is doesnt work for my version of Windows Moble. not sure why, my phone is new and just upgraded the OS and everything. I guess i still have a lot to learn about the Win Mobile thing

That's because the S620 is WM Standard (Smartphone) whereas the ones with touchscreen are WM Professional (PPC). Treat them as two seperate OSes with a similar name.
