Somethings wrong with my iden please help me

There is something wrong with my iden every time i click on the icon to open up iden it says"the application was unable to retrieve information from the server"..i dont know y it says that...im connected to the internet and every thing and still it does not work...so please if u can help me i would appreciate it...thanks
