First, this problem is w/ my motorola Q.

Okay this is pissing me off SOO much right now. At first, active sync (v4.5 latest build) was working fine.

However, i had sprite backup installed. I had just finished upgrading the Q to the latest update. Sprite Backup said it had to switch itself to 'guest' mode in order to restore the backup. Well, there was an error cuz pre v6 sprite backup ISNT compatible w/ my phone. So it didnt restore my phone and i cant access the phone / restore contacts w/ active sync cuz its stuck in guest. HELP ME PLEASE

Ive uninstalled activesync and reinstalled multiple times on my PC. I hard reset my phone, i totally wiped the memory from my phone and started all over, and I still cant figure out how to get it to work

p.s. it also tells me that there was a problem w/ installing my device on the PC... every time it installs. weird huh? and it keeps changing the connection.

the device always appears on my PC under LAN or High-speed internet. Every time i try to fix it, it jumps up in number. Last time the driver was Windows Mobile-based Device #8. now its Windows Mobile-based Device #9

i WAS able to get it work on a different PC w/ windows vista and the mobile center. I would still be able to get it to work on my pC. makes me think its on the PC side of things then. any help on totally erasing all things activesync so i can start fresh w/ out being stuck as a guest?
