Full time and Part time

I am interviewing for a Part Time Sales Rep position at a corp store. This may be premature to be thinking about, because I don't know if I'll get hired, but is it possible to move from Part time to Full time after you get hired or do you have to wait a year or something like that?

All depends on your store needs, I went from part to full in the matter of 3 weeks because our store needed people at that time and working full time hours and paying part time benefits is ridiculous...

You can but you must be available ALL the time.

Are you a full time student too? I honestly don't see how it's possible to work full time (40 hours, thats 5 days out of the week working 8 hours) and going to school and taking it seriously.

I mean, on your day off you go to school?

I'm not in school, so being available all the time is ok with me

I take 3 classes which is one class short of full time, but I take classes tue/thurs and this semester I will have those days off to take classes so I could easily add one more class. Just not having much of a social life during the week is the only down part but having a roof over my head and health insurance is a bit more important than going out every night and getting drunk to me....
