2-3 Seconds of Blank Screen

I get [1 to 2] seconds or [2 to 3] seconds of blank screen often.

Do you guys get this, after you press the Sleep/Wake button (to check the time or to see if someone calls)?

I've noticed this (the blank screen) after EACH full charge. Not necessary immediately after, but some time at least ONCE after a full charge.

I commonly get black screens that don't do anything untill I hit the home button~5-7sec or untill I get sick of waiting for It to stop hanging.

I never had this problem until 1.01 afaik

I had the same issue with my first iPhone, but only after the update was installed, not sure about my new since I have only had it a few hours.

Same with me. I thought doing a restore to v1 would work. It will only restore to v1.01

I had the same problem. I did a restore (which is a clean full install of ver.1.01). Also so, I hold the sleep/weak button for a full 1 sec. So far, I haven't had that problem again.

GX1, please explain your logic. If I restore, the phone would be back to version 1.00.

I don't understand how you could get a clean full install of 1.01 since you must come back to 1.00 before you could go to 1.01.

Same here. Actually, I just posted in another thread where I think they're talking about the same thing

I did a second restore just to make sure. It will do a restore to 1.01 only. I do not get the 1.00. I don't have to do a update after the restore. It restores to version 1.01 only.

Unless it is doing it in the background, such as restore to version 1.00 and automatically update to 1.01. I wouldn't know because, during the process I don't see anything that says " Restoring to firmware1.00" or "Updating fireware to version 1.01". IT just a complete system restore and it is version 1.01 that's it.

I just picked up the iPhone last Saturday and I saw the black screen problem on Wednesday. I updated on Friday and so far haven't seen the problem again.
