I'm forced to go to a training next week for work, but being from my computer could mean missing out on thousands of $$. Can anyone reccomend a solution?

The hotel I am staying at has wired access in the room, but I need to be more mobile than that. Hopefully someone can help me out here. I am leaving tomorrow and don't have time to buy on of those cards from AT&T.

Thanks in advance.

Yes you can teather your 7130c to your laptop. You need to have the USB cable. There is a long, detailed post over at blackberryforums.com that I used to get my BB to teather. It took a while, but worked well.

Also add a tethering plan to your phone as you might be hit with a huge data bill.

I have tried to follow the instructions on Blackberryfaq for tethering my laptop to my Curve but I have a few questions.

1. They list a special initialization sequence for the Pearl but don't say anything about the Curve. Do I use the Pearl setting?

2. When I set up the Blackberry modem it asks for a phone number to dial. What do I use? I tried leaving it blank thinking that if the phone was on it wouldn't need to dial but it doesn't work.

Any help would be appreciated.
