KRZR only in blue?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

A friend of mine wanted to get a KRZR today while we were in the AT&T store, and the employee said blue was the only color availble to AT&T users.

Can that be true? She wanted black or red.

It's true.

The GSM KRZR K1 comes in blue (AT&T), silver (T-Mobile), and gold (Motorola.com).

The CDMA KRZR K1m comes in black (Sprint), grey, white, and red (all Verizon).

I think you might be able to import a red GSM KRZR K1, but other than that, she's out of luck.

You can buy unlocked GSM KRZR's online like on ebay in all sorts of colors like Red, Blue, Green, Pink, Gold, Silver, and Black.

The employee meant that the only At&t branded one they sell is blue. I am on At&t and I just bought an unbranded black KRZR and it works great.

Can you guys point me in the right direction for an unbranded Krzr? I can send the info to my friend...

Fido and Rogers carry the product (RED) KRZR. It's black and red and GSM.

Thanks for the link, nice selection of phones!

I'd personally be interested in Sony-Ericsson phones, but only a handful of the ones they have seem to support GSM 850, which people tell me is essential if I really want to have good luck on the AT&T network.

You might be able to get away without 850, but depending on your location, you may need it. Better to be safe than sorry, so get it if you can.

Mojo it's time to stop playing and come on over... I can tell by your post you want to.

IMO I think YOU should go the unlocked unbranded route.

Hey Wide, let's move this converastion over into my "Samsung or SE" thread where it's more on topic... I'll be replying there.
