Can I use E61i housing for a E61

I have a nokia e61, which i got off ebay. It worked fine for 9 months. Two days ago the joystick started acting up. When ever i touch it, it acts as if it is stuck in the down position. So i decided to get a new housing for my phone. I was wondering if i could use the new e61i housing because it looks better, instead. If anybody knows about this kind of modding please help me.
