currently using tmobile sim card with unlocked 8525 and upgraded to wm6 successfully.

my wifi detected my network with 3-4 bars and saying its connected, IE can't unable to open web pages.

suggestions??

if you're using one of the custom rom images taken from xda developers, then you should know that some of the custom roms of WM6 for the hermes have a glitch/bug that affects wifi ( ie. not working ). go back and look for a version that states in the release note that they patched it.

Common problem here is turning the PROXIE off when using WiFi. Many of the WM6 ROMs that have been built off the AT&T rom have included a proxie switch. Some are in .cab form. Others are icons you can select to turn it on and off. I'd suggest the V3G rom as it's built on the AT&T rom and is one of the smallest out there. Options that have been removed can easily be added back with the Add-on cab.
