question about 850 Wcdma band

does anybody know if we are using that band or is it still "theo"? theo meaning future deployment

There are some markets with 850 deployment, though I am not sure which...

Please clarify your question. Deploying WCDMA at 850MHz would be based on what license is held by ATT in a given Market area. Some markets are 850 only, 1900 only and some are both 850/1900. The deployment at 850 would also be based on many factors. Most importantly, is there enough bandwidth, while maintaining spectrum for TDMA and GSM.

cool...In the atlanta market - 05, can you tell me if a phone that has 850 WCDMA will be able to get umts speeds and voice quality? the phone in question is a Nokia 6267.
