Blackjack official WM5 ROM udate woes!

I just updated my Blackjack to the latest "official" WM5 ROM update from Samsung's website last night. Ever since I did that, I notice odd lagging from the O/S at random times. I've done 2 hard resets. I notice it most in Total Commander and Vista Smartphone Interface. In VSI, I can't even get to the messages screen anymore. I haven't overclocked it or anything yet since installing the new ROM like I had with the original ROM. I haven't run any of the SmartTweaker performance boost hacks yet either. It hangs to the point that I have to go to task manager and stop the app that is hanging.

Has anyone else experienced "laggy" issues with the latest "official" ROM compared to the original ROM. I got my blackjack in March, still Cingular branded.

So far, I'm not real impressed with the new ROM.

There is virually no change in WM5 OS part other than the new AT&T log from that WM5 ROM update, i.e. it is not worth it to upgrade to that ROM unless you experience the specific foreign country roaming issue that update addresses. You issue would probably be solve by a hard reset.

Unfortunately, I already ran the ROM update, so unless I can find someplace to d/l the original ROM, I guess I'm stuck. I've already tried several Hard resets.

Reflash it again and see what happens. Also, hard reset after the reflash.

Be sure to let both portions of the flash finish. The first time I flashed my BJ, I disconnected while the counter was still counting (but finished the first portion of the flash). It worked find but I realized my thinking that the flash was hung was wrong, it just wasn't ready for the second portion.

I'll try to reflash tonight, thanks for your input.
